Song of the day!
Location, Dates, and Times of Shabbat Services
"A person must seek peace with his fellow human, and seek peace with himself. Inner peace means that one doesn't differentiate between favorable occurrences and unfavorable occurrences and happily sees the hand of G-d in whatever happens".
-Rebbe Nachman of Breslev (1772-1810)
"Not that I am saying this to call attention to any need of mine; since, as far as I'm concerned, I have learned to be content regardless of circumstances. I know what it is to be in want, and I know what it is to have more than enough...in everything and in every way, I have learned the secret of being full and being hungry, of having abundance and being in need. I can do all things through Him who gives me power".
-Philippians 4:11-13
Congregation Shema Yisrael is one of the oldest continually operating Torah observant/One Law congregations in Idaho. Founded in 1996, Shema Yisrael is a fellowship of Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua our Messiah. Our Shabbat (Sabbath) service includes a traditional Hebraic liturgy which gives honor and glory to Yeshua and to G-d the Father.
We believe that there is no separation in the Almighty's Word and that the Bible is a complete and seamless document with the Torah (The Five Books of Moses) as the foundation. The entire Bible is the eternally unchanging Word of the Almighty and just as He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, so is His Word. The Word of the Almighty has always pointed to our Messiah Yeshua and is our guide for worship and righteous living.
We meet for Shabbat services near Boise from 9 a.m to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday. We begin with liturgical prayer and songs of praise and worship. If we have a minyan of ten readers, we go on to a Torah reading and then proceed to our teaching based on the Torah portion for the week.
