Worshiping with our Congregation

Shalom and Welcome to the Home Page of Congregation Shema Yisrael. We are a group of Jews and Gentiles who gather together in peace to worship the Almighty and His Son, our Messiah, Yeshua. We believe that just as the Almighty is unchanging and eternal, so is His Powerful Word. No part of His Word has been done away with or will be done away with and His Word is our guide for worship and righteous living.

If you would like to join us for Shabbat worship, attend our Torah and Hebrew classes, or are interested in learning more about our congregation. please click the following link to Contact Us.

What's New?

Shabbat Worship! Shabbat services now begin at 9 a.m. See the Services page for details.

High Holy Days! The beginning of the Days of Awe start on the evening of September 9th with Rosh Hashanah. Visit the Announcements page for all the details on our Holiday events.

Hebrew 101 and 102 Classes! Both of these classes are starting up in September. Go to our Announcements page for more.

613 Commandments Class! I've been doing quite a bit of studying this summer and after much prayer and consideration and discussing the matter with the Board of Elders, I've decided to completely reorganize this class to reflect the nature and spirit of the two Greatest Commandments that Yeshua expressed in Matthew 22:37-40. The class won't be resuming until the beginning of October, after the High Holidays have ended and will likely have a new name. Stay tuned for more announcements about class details.

Help the Poor! Help our congregation minister to the poor and needy in the Treasure Valley all year round. Find out how by going to our Ministries page.

Prayer Requests! Our congregation will humbly accept any Prayer Requests or Praises you may have on our blog.
