Shalom and Welcome to the Home Page of Congregation Shema Yisrael. We are a group of Jews and Gentiles who gather together in peace to worship the Almighty and His Son, our Messiah, Yeshua. We believe that just as the Almighty is unchanging and eternal, so is His Powerful Word. As the Emissary Paul wrote, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness..." -2 Timothy 3:16. No part of His Word has been done away with or will be done away with and His Word is our guide for worship and righteous living.
We meet every Shabbat morning near Boise, Idaho for prayer, worship, praise, thanksgiving, and fellowship. If you would like to join us or are interested in learning more. please click the following link to Contact Us.

What's New?
Important! Our congregation will not be meeting and having services on Saturday, July 4th. Due to the national holiday, most of the members and leadership will be on vacation out of the area. We will be resuming our regular Shabbat services on July 11th.
613 Commandments Class! In July, the next class meets Thursday at 7 p.m. on the 9th. We will also meet either on the 16th or the 30th. When a final date is set, this announcement will be updated. If there is sufficient demand, a Beginning Torah class may be offered. Contact Us for more information.

Promise Keepers 2009: A Time to Honor! We received some materials from the Promise Keepers organization inviting Messianic Jewish men to a special event this summer in Boulder, Colorado. Learn more on our Announcements page.
Hebrew Class 101 and 102! Our Hebrew 101 class was a great success. So much that we'll be offering it again this fall. In addition, 101 graduates will be offered a Hebrew 102 class that teaches the beginnings of Hebrew prayer. Keep an eye on our Announcements page for more information as it becomes available.
